We decided to go with Joe from Derouin Concrete. He and his guys have been awesome and have done a really good job so far. The forms and rebar are in, and concrete is scheduled for delivery in two days. We went with an exposed aggregate which I think will compliment the house well. More pics to follow!
The rear deck is finally done. Lindsay decided she wanted to do cable which I have never done before. There was quite a learning curve, but I think it turned out well after I figured out a system.
Final grade was done, and topsoil delivered. I think we will plant grass after we move in since it is so hot I don’t think the grass will survive the heat.
All the drywall was hung, and the guys are mudding and sanding. It will be done soon!
The septic system has been installed. Not too eventful, but a cool process none the less. The tanks are huge, and the field is also very simplistic it seems. Basically the “solids” stay in the tank, and the “liquids” are pumped up to the septic field and naturally decompose. You get the idea… 
Siding is on and it looks great. Nearing the end and yet there is still so much to do. We are drained, but glad the end is near.
